Why Hajj Umrah Pilgrims Get Lost in Makkah

Reasons why pilgrims get lost in Makkah

Old age, language problem, getting separated from group are some of the reasons why pilgrims get lost in the Grand Mosque and the central area around it.

Makkah Arabic daily has put together a list of the top ten reasons. Usually, pilgrims try to find those who speak their language or police officers to ask for direction to their hotel. This becomes a real problem when a pilgrim is unable to communicate with authorities or when he or she is unaware of the name or location of his or her hotel.

“You also need to take into account the age of pilgrims and their social and cultural backgrounds,” said supervisor of Turkish pilgrims Ahmad Halabi, who stressed that the Saudi Ministry of Haj pays special attention to lost pilgrims and make sure that they reach their destination.

He cited a number of reasons and factors why pilgrims get lost, which include old age. Elderly pilgrims find it difficult to remember the doors through which they entered the Grand Mosque. “The Grand Mosque is big and the streets and roads around it are confusing. Some insist on leaving their hotels alone and refuse to stay with the group. That’s when most of the accidents happen,” Halabi said. Why Hajj Umrah Pilgrims Get Lost in Makkah

“Some pilgrims refuse to carry wrist bands, which contain their names and location,” he said.
Top 10 Reasons Pilgrims Get Lost in Makkah

The Makkah Municipality is working to develop an indicative map of Makkah and major important sites in the city, he said.

1. Old age
2. Language problem
3. Unfamiliarity with maps
4. Not knowing the name and location of accommodation
5. Not knowing the name of the office for pilgrim affairs
6. Unfamiliarity with the name of the street or neighborhood
7. Not paying attention to nearby landmarks
8. Ditching the group
9. Removing the wrist band
10. Going to the Grand Mosque from one road and leaving from another.

Google Search, commonly referred to as Google Web Search or simply Google, is a web search engine developed by Google. It is the most-used search engine on the World Wide Web, handling more than three billion searches each day.As of February 2016 it is the most used search engine in the US with 64.0% market share.

Search. It happens billions of times a day in the blink of an eye. Explore the art and science that makes it possible.

The web is like an ever-growing public library with billions of books and no central filing system. Google essentially gathers the pages during the crawl process and then creates an index, so we know exactly how to look things up. Much like the index in the back of a book, the Google index includes information about words and their locations. When you search, at the most basic level, our algorithms look up your search terms in the index to find the appropriate pages.

Google's search engine is a powerful tool. Without search engines like Google, it would be practically impossible to find the information you need when you browse the Web. Like all search engines, Google uses a special algorithm to generate search results. While Google shares general facts about its algorithm, the specifics are a company secret. This helps Google remain competitive with other search engines on the Web and reduces the chance of someone finding out how to abuse the system.

Google uses automated programs called spiders or crawlers, just like most search engines. Also like other search engines, Google has a large index of keywords and where those words can be found. What sets Google apart is how it ranks search results, which in turn determines the order Google displays results on its search engine results page (SERP). Google uses a trademarked algorithm called PageRank, which assigns each Web page a relevancy score.

Humanity Still Alive in Saudi Arabia

Saudis shower a cleaner mocked on social media with gold and money

Good Humanity Done by Saudi Men

An Asian street cleaner in his 50s did not realize that a sarcastic comment about him on social media would result in an outpouring of support and make him rich in a matter of hours.

The man, Nuzroul Abdul Karim from Bangladesh, was photographed looking at gold on display at a jewelry shop.

A social media user mocked him and uploaded the photo, captioned: “This is as far as you can go. You can only look at the garbage.”

Saudis were hurt by the unkind comment.

A businessman with the Twitter handle @ensaneyat began a campaign to look for Abdul Karim.

He sent out a tweet which was retweeted 6000 times and in about three hours the Bangladeshi cleaner was finally located.

Abdul Karim received six expensive gold jewelry items and seven mobile phones in addition to cash as gifts from Saudis.

He said he had no knowledge of what was happening on social media until some of his colleagues told him about it.

He said he would give the jewelry and the mobile phones to his wife and four children (three boys and a girl).

Abdul Karim was extremely moved by the support of the Saudis. He said he would take permission from his company to go to Makkah to perform Umrah to thank Allah for His bounties and also to appreciate the kindness and generosity of the Saudi people.

Citizens said that the person who uploaded Abdul Karim’s photo with racist comment did not represent Saudis who are known for their kindness and generosity.

A major part of the impetus for this shift from corporate jobs to start-ups is coming from the B-schools. This is a big universe of new ideas and a lot of fresh energy coming into the industry. Top 15 BPO Companies in India

List of Top 15 BPO Companies in India

The Indian Business Process Management industry has experienced key transformations over the past few years, gaining experience, maturity, and gravitating towards higher-end services and global competitiveness.

Knowing, understanding and spreading awareness about this changing landscape has remained a big challenge for the industry and its stakeholders. The stakeholders, including customers, academia and the nation in general, need to understand the enormity of the change. While customers must be told about the enhanced value proposition offered by service providers, academia needs to prepare and motivate the workforce that delivers these services. News methods need to be found to communicate the news about this transformation.
One subtle, yet effective way is to refer to the industry as the Business Process Management (BPM) sector rather than the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) segment.

Top 15 BPO Companies in IndiaThe re-branding of the industry will give it the identity of being a full-service value provider rather than an industry that plays only in the lower-end of the services spectrum. At the same time, the Indian industry needs to leverage the low-end skills available in other emerging destinations, while itself moving up the value chain.

This will give India a seat on the high table, even as it broadens the ambit of the services that the BPO industry currently provides. It no longer matters whether those services are outsourced, shared, managed, collocated or captive. All these are simply the different delivery models that customers can continue to choose from. Today, the industry has a more strategic and intellectual role to play.

The BPM model will continue to evolve and drive the sector, which has since its inception in the early 1995, been tuned to a dynamic global business landscape. Changing perceptions is a crucial step in that evolutionary process, so the sooner it begins, the better it is for the industry’s growth.

The Indian knowledge industry has, from the very beginning, been very cohesive in its thoughts and actions. This is what has made it strong and unshakable. Identifying and looking for collective opportunities in newer services and newer business models is something that the industry has traditionally done. Long before the murmurs began, the industry had already shifted gears, from providing pure-play call centre and process outsourcing services to more serious, sophisticated and mature offerings.

Where does the shift in the approach place India in comparison with the new BPM hubs? This is the logical next question considering how some of the emerging destinations of the BPO industry are aggressively marketing their countries. Sometimes India is pitted against East European countries, while at other times it is clubbed with its Asian neighbours like China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and others. While it is true that several of these countries are making a huge effort to garner an increased share in the growing global BPO market, India, with its intrinsic and core strengths and buoyed by this changed approach, can continue to remain ahead of the curve.

This core strength approach is what differentiates India and other countries from each other. Some of the emerging destinations are leveraging the quality of voice service, others are looking at English speaking capabilities and focusing on their younger and aspiring population to present their countries as an alternative destination to India. Other are leveraging favorable time zone differences, a vibrant social life tuned to American culture, government sops to BPO companies in terms of tax breaks, establishment of a separate department for skills development, subsidies for skilling and so on. Last but not the least, these countries have a very supportive media that is also marketing their respective companies actively.
