Salat

 

1. Salaat was the first and the foremost thing ordained by Allah, and it shall be the first and the foremost thing to be reckoned for on the Day of Judgement.

 

2. Salaat is the mark of Islam. A person who performs his salaat on time with sincerity and devotion, observing all its regulations including the Mustahabbaat, is surely a Mo'min.

 

3. Of all things that have been ordained by Allah, Imaan and salaat are the most valued. If there were any otber thing better than salaat, then Allah would have ordained it for His Angels, some of whom are always in ruku and others in sajdah.

 

4. Salaat is the pillar of Islam.

 

5. Salaat is the light of a Mo'min.

 

6. Of all the good practices, salaat performed on time is most loved by Allah.

 

7. Allah likes most the posture of a person when he is in sajdah, putting his forehead on the ground in humility.

 

8. Sa1aa.t is a key to Paradise.

 

9. A person in salaat is like a person who knocks at the door of the sovereign Lord, and the door is always opened for him who knocks.

 

10. If a person wishes to have his sins forgiven by Allah, he should perform the wudhu properly, offer with devotion two or four rak'aats of fardh or nafl and then pray to Allah. Allah will forgive him.

Last Date Gate 2012 Exam

GATE 2012 Application- Last Date 17th October

This year GATE 2012 exam will be organized by Indian Institute of Delhi. GATE is conducted through 8 zones which are administered by prominent IITs and Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru.
GATE score is used by various institutes and organizations foradmission in Post Graduate courses as well as scholarships/ assistantships. However, there are several Public Sector Units who are using GATE score to call the candidates for the entry level positions of trainees. Till date NTPC and BHEL have already published that the recruitment of fresh engineers would be done on the basis of GATE 2012 score.
Eligibility
Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology/ Architecture

OR

Masters Degree in Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics / Computer Applications
Candidates appearing in the final year exams are also eligible but pre final year students must not apply for the GATE 2012.
Application Process: Only online mode of application is accepted. You can apply between 12th September 2011 to 17th October 2011. For complete information you must vist the offical GATE portal of IIT Delhi:

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering - GATE 2012   Date of Online Examination: 29-01-2012 (Sunday)  Date of Offline Examination:  12-02-2012 (Sunday) Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The GATE committee, which comprises of representatives from the administering institutes, is the sole authority for regulating the examination and declaring the results. GATE is conducted through the constitution of eight zones. GATE qualified candidates with Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture or Master's degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications are eligible for admission to Master's degree programmes in Engineering/Technology/Architecture as well as for Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Science with MHRD or other government scholarships/assistantships. To avail the scholarship, the candidate must secure admission to such a postgraduate programme, as per the prevailing procedure of the admitting institution. However, candidates with Master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture may seek admission to relevant Doctoral programmes with scholarship/assistantship without appearing in the GATE examination. GATE qualification is also a minimum requirement to apply for various fellowships awarded by many Government organizations.
