Aims to set up coaching, conduct seminars, workshops, etc to encourage education

Initially, preparing students for IIT-JEE 2012, In future, prepare for IAS, Law School of India, AIIMS, NTSE, etc, Insha Allah

Why LEAD Trust?

Sachar Committee Report found that literacy among Muslims is even lower than SCs

Situation is worse in Higher Education

IAS (3%), IFS (1.8%), IPS (4%), IIT (1.7%)

Dire need to start practical programs that encourage higher education among minorities

Lead Trust formed to fill that need

Rahmani Foundation

Runs the highly successful Rahmani-30 program in Bihar to train students for IIT-JEE

Spearheaded by Shri Abhayanand, ADGP, Bihar

In 1st year, had 100% results – all their students got seats in IITs

Select poor students from all over Bihar, host them for 2 yrs, train them. All free of cost

Expanding into Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Kolkata and Bangalore in 2010

LEAD-Rahmani 30 Program 2012

Prepare Twenty 10th class pass students in Karnataka and Kerala for IIT-JEE 2012

Teaming up with successful NGOs: Rahmani Foundation, Al-Ameen Trust, Shaheen Scholars Group, MSS

Replicate proven Rahmani-30 model

Two year residential program at Al-Ameen Hostel

Students will be trained for IIT-JEE and PUC

How will it work ?

Screening test on April 18th 2010, Insha Allah

Test conducted in centers in Karnataka and Kerala

Selected candidates will do PUC at Al-Ameen College, Bangalore

Food, lodging, training, books etc will be provided for two years

Training provided by in-house trainers as well as through video conferencing from Rahmani

For deserving candidates, the entire program will be free of cost!!
