1. Technical Architect

Main Responsibilities:

· Serve as the Solution Architecture and Design authority on multiple projects

· Architecting and Designing enterprise class applications and B2B integration solutions, in compliance with the Reference Architecture, Architecture Standards, Guidelines and Best practices.

· Producing technical architectures that are modifiable, dependable and scalable

Providing the technical bridge between the Program/Project Manager(s) and Development/Operations Technical Resources
Work with other programming staff to determine changes and enhancement in program code
Provide guidance to support staff on software development and maintenance
Mentor the development team and insure that proper architecture/design governance are exercised on implementation of projects and/or any extension on projects
Working with clients and advising them on key architectural decisions concerning the platform and the supporting technologies.
Evaluating projects from a technical stance, guaranteeing that the development methods used are correct and practical.
Signing off system requirements, identifying resources and estimating timelines for project completion
Contribute to the continual development and maintenance of Reference Architecture and the Architecture Standards, Guidelines & Best Practices repository

Skills Required:

Technical Skills:

· Highly Skilled in J2EE, Web Services, JSP, JSF, etc..

· Have experience/exposure to frameworks such as Struts, Spring and Hibernate

· Expert Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and its applicability/usage on Projects – should have delivered at least one SOA based solution

· Expert knowledge and experience on BPEL, ESB and SOA governance solution

· Have implementation experience with one of the leading Industry Portal Offerings (IBM WebSphere Portal, WebLogic Portal (WLP), WebCenter Suite or Oracle Portal)

· Have implementation experience/exposure with solutions such as Enterprise Content Management, Web Content Management, etc

· Have implementation experience of Business Process Automation using any of the Business Process Engines – though resources with jBPM experience are highly preferable.

· Have implementation experience of any Business Rule Engine, preferably JBoss Rules

· Knowledge in at least one of the industry standard relational databases e.g. Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server

· Expert IT knowledge in areas of application development, standards, documentation, security and Hardware.

A “Husband Shopping Center” has just opened where a woman may go to choose a husband from among many men. The store has five floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the flights.

There is, however, a catch: As you open the door to any floor you may choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down except to exit the building.

So a woman goes to the shopping center to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 – These men have jobs. The woman reads the sign and says to herself, “Well, that’s better than my last husband, but I wonder what’s further up?” So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 – These men have jobs and love kids. The woman remarks to herself, “That’s great, but I wonder what’s further up?” And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 – These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking. “Hmmm, better” she says. “But I wonder what’s upstairs?”
